Chrysophyllum cainito a.k.a. STAR APPLE CAIMITO

The Star Apple or Caimito is grown in many of the tropical and subtropical areas and is susceptible to cold/frost. It is a medium to large tree growing up to 25+ ft. and takes approx. 5 years to bear fruit. We offer the greenish fruit variety growing to about baseball size and ripening to glossy green with light purple shade.

Easy and simple to grow. Plant seed 1/2″ to 1″ deep in porous well draining soil in 1/2 – 1 gallon pot/bag. Place in partly sunny to sunny location and keep moist. Seeds should germinate in 30 days.
