CITRUS LEMON CHEENA

A good tasting lemon used in a variety of local food dishes. With the Lemon Cheena fruit, peel off skin before squeezing / extracting lemon juice as skin emits a very bitter acidic juice.

An evergreen tree or shrub growing up to 20 ft. Does best in full sun, but tolerates partly sunny spots, and grows almost anywhere from sandy to clay soils, moist and dry areas, and bears lots of lemon fruit.

Easy to grow from seed; plant seed 1″ inch deep in well drained soil in 2″ – 4″ inch planting cup and place in warm sunny to partly sunny spot; seed germinates in approx. 30 days. Transplant seedling into larger 1/2 – 1 gallon pot/bag and allow to grow for several months up to a year until plant reaches 1′ – 2′ ft. before transplanting into ground or large pot (10 gal.+).

Seeds packed fresh on date of purchase with planting instructions included. Planting information assistance is gladly provided on request.
