CITRUS TANGERINE

Sweet tasting tropical tangerine about the size of a baseball. We are currently in the tangerine fruiting and ripening season so fresh seed stock would be limited for several months until the following year. As with all our other varieties of citrus trees, tropical tangerine is an evergreen shrub or tree growing up to 20+ ft. Does best in full sun but will tolerate partly sunny locations, and grows almost anywhere from sandy to clay soils, moist and dry areas, and bears lots of tangerine fruits that its branches droop downwards because of the weight of its fruits.

Easy to grow from seed; plant seed 1/2″ – 1″ inch deep in well-drained soil in 2″ – 4″ inch planting cup, or 1 quart to 1/2 gallon pot/bag and place in warm sunny to partly sunny spot; seed germinates in approx. 30 days. Transplant seedling from planting cup into larger 1/2 – 1 gallon pot/bag and allow to grow for several months up to a year until plant reaches 1′ – 2′ ft. in height before transplanting into ground or large pot (10 gallons+). Tangerine tree maturity and fruit bearing attainable from 3 – 5 years.

Seeds packed fresh on date of purchase with planting instructions included. Planting information assistance is gladly provided on request.
