Achiote Tree, also known as the Lipstick Tree, is a great ornamental tree or shrub to beautify any landscape with its bright to dark red seed pods. Used locally in coloring and preparation of red rice, achiote – annato seeds are also used elsewhere for other purposes in other food coloring, red dye making, etc.
